ARCH & GODFREY
Arch and Godfrey is one of the oldest and largest construction companies in the Cayman Islands, with a long history emerging from over five generations of master shipwrights and builders. Joining forces to meet the demands of the rapidly developing islands, Heber Arch and Michael Godfrey were in the forefront of Cayman’s construction industry when they started and remain so today.
In 2016 Arch and Godfrey were awarded the LEED Platinum Award for their new offices in George Town. Arch and Godfrey have lead the way in sustainable design locally and LEED is the world recognized sustainability rating, developed by the US Green Council for building and development purposes.
The Periwinkle is a flower of significance for the Arch and Godfrey team, and you can find it planted throughout the landscaping surrounding their offices. The Periwinkle is indigenous to Cayman and combines beauty with a robust strength. It is therefore an apt name for the first sustainable community, with Caymanian heritage at its core.
